What furniture should I move before you clean my carpetS?
Our technicians will be able to move small furniture for you – like chairs and coffee tables. Anything heavier - such as a large sofa - should be moved beforehand if you would like to have the surface under the object cleaned.
How often should i get my carpets cleaned?
Think of scheduling carpet cleanings like you would a dentist appointment. If you only go when your teeth hurt, you’ll end up with cavities, pulled teeth, etc. Likewise, if you wait until your carpets get really dirty, you’ll end up with serious stains, ground-in dirt, and significant traffic areas. Instead, get your carpets cleaned every 6-12 months. Regular cleanings can can add years of life of your carpet.
What is the downside of cleaning my own carpet?
Many grocery and hardware stores have small carpet cleaning machines for rent; and this equipment can get some stains out. However, those cleaning machines use lots of soaps and chemicals. Therefore, they can make your carpets look good, but they can leave a sticky film on the carpet. This sticky film captures dirt and dust, which means those carpeted areas will get dirty again – and faster than before.
